I just wanted to say thank you for the performance at Millfield tonight. I’ve never heard anything quite like that piece before and to be honest I’m not sure I could bear to listen to it again. I found it almost unbearably painful. But it was so beautiful. It went right to the heart of me. I’m English born, but also an Australian citizen and the call of that land in the music for me was heartbreaking and stirred up a compassion for her that had me in tears. I think it is the most powerful piece of music I have ever heard.
So thank you so much. BTW I’ve never seen didges anything like that either! Utterly beautiful.
