Product Description
This is number one in a set of three termite eaten Woolly butt eucalyptus didgeridoos made specifically for trad style players. Relatively high pitched with a neat and tidy punchy toot note, made to react very well with hard tongue and especially passive voice techniques. A stunning piece of highly polished, rock hard eucalyptus.
However please note that the sound sample really does not do this instrument justice.
This is Woolly butt eucalyptus harvested in the Northern Territory’s near Darwin Australia. It was eating out by termites and then shaped by hand with long chisels. The name Wooly butt comes from the woolly substance that grows around the base( butt ) of the tree which deters small woodland creatures from eating the bark.
